BIO-live.de – Our commitment to the next generation of science writers

Ever wondered what happens when a hoard of journalism students meet leading life science industry experts? Well… we have documented it all for you here at the BIO-Europe live blog www.bio-live.de

Giving the next generation of science journalists an insight into the fascinating, yet intricately complex, life sciences industry isn’t always an easy task but nonetheless, a rewarding experience for both sides. Together with their partners EBD Group, Labiotech.eu and BIO Clustermanagement NRW GmbH, MC Services took on the challenge by introducing the “Bio-Live”-ProjectFirst introduced at the 2016 BIO-Europe conference, interested students from local journalism schools and universities, f.e. the Deutsche Journalistenschule, TU Dortmund and the Kölner Journalistenschule, were invited to conduct interviews with participants and report on their impressions of the event as well as highlights from panels, company presentations and discussions under the guidance of our in-house journalism and bio science experts.

The aim of this initiative is to provide a vivid picture of the event for interested people in and outside the conference as well as to get young journalists enthusiastic about the complex field of biotechnology. And, the outcome was surprising: well written and thought out articles, mood pictures, interviews and coverage of panel discussions with fresh insights and perspectives!  Find out more at: www.bio-live.de.[image_slider_no_space on_click=”use_custom_links” custom_links=”http://www.bio-live.de/curing-cancer-with-cell-and-gene-therapy/, http://www.bio-live.de/was-es-braucht-um-big-pharma-als-kooperationspartner-zu-gewinnen/, http://www.bio-live.de/man-braucht-ein-gewisses-fingerspitzengefuhl-fur-das-jeweilige-unternehmen/, http://www.bio-live.de/you-dont-reach-the-top-of-mount-everest-in-one-day/” custom_links_target=”_blank” height=”600″ navigation_style=”light” images=”3562,3563,3560,3566″]
