11 Dec MC Services strengthens life sciences expertise with the addition of Dr. Solveigh Mähler

Duesseldorf, Germany, December 11, 2013 – MC Services, an international Investor Relations and Public Relations consultancy, today announced that Dr. Solveigh Mähler, former Director Investor Relations/Public Relations at QIAGEN, will join the Company’s life science team.

Dr. Solveigh Mähler adds over 14 years of experience in capital markets with a track-record of over 10 years as Director Investor Relations/Public Relations with QIAGEN, a global market leading company with dual-listings on the Deutsche Börse and NASDAQ exchanges. In this position, she was responsible for the company’s communications strategy during more than 20 M&A deals and numerous capital raising activities. Under her direction, the QIAGEN team was repeatedly awarded for its IR performance. Prior to joining QIAGEN, she worked as a sell-side analyst and life sciences sector specialist with former WestLB.

Through her scientific background and a post-graduate degree in Economics as well as her experience in Corporate Communications, Dr. Solveigh Mähler carries a deep understanding of the markets and the high-level demands and needs for communications in the industry. Her expertise further complements the life sciences team at MC Services.
