MC Services AG sponsor of the 2019 science journalists’ conference WISSENSWERTE

MC Services AG is a first time sponsor of the WISSENSWERTE – the most important German-language dialogue forum for science journalists, science communicators and media-focused researchers, held in Bremen, November 25 -27, 2019.

The three-day program features panel discussions and lectures on current journalistic and scientific topics as well as workshops with practitioners. Lectures by top researchers on the latest research trends and technical visions of the future are on the agenda as well as discussions on professional ethics or market development.

It is extremely important to MC Services to promote the dialogue between research and reporters on questions about the life sciences and to contribute to ensureuring that science reporters with expert knowledge can continue to take on the often complex, but vitally important topics of our life sciences industry and that they have the opportunity to participate in professional exchanges, networking events and get to know new topics at conferences such as the WISSENSWERTE.

The WISSENSWERTE takes place annually in November since its premiere in 2004: about 500 participants come every year to the forum in Bremen.

MC Services AG wird erstmalig Sponsor der WISSENSWERTE – dem wichtigsten deutschsprachigen Dialogforum für Wissenschaftsjournalisten, -kommunikatoren und medieninteressierte Forscher, das vom 25. bis 27. November 2019 in Bremen stattfindet.

Das dreitägige Programm bietet prominent besetzte Podiumsdiskussionen und Vorträge zu aktuellen journalistischen und wissenschaftlichen Themen sowie Workshops mit Praktikern. Vorträge von Spitzenforschern zu neuesten Forschungstrends und technischen Zukunftsvisionen stehen ebenso auf dem Programm wie Diskussionen zu Berufsethos oder Marktentwicklung.

Es ist MC Services ein großes Anliegen, den Dialog zwischen Forschung und journalistischer Öffentlichkeit zu Fragen der Lebenswissenschaften zu fördern und dazu beizutragen, dass sich Journalisten mit Fach- und Sachverstand auch weiterhin der oft komplexen, aber ´lebens´-wichtigen Themen unserer Life-Sciences-Branche annehmen können – und dass sie Zeit und Gelegenheit zum fachlichen und kollegialen Austausch und zum Kennenlernen neuer Themen auf Konferenzen wie der WISSENSWERTE haben.

Die WISSENSWERTE findet seit ihrer Premiere 2004 alljährlich im November statt. Rund 500 Teilnehmer kommen jedes Jahr zum Forum für Wissenschaftsjournalismus nach Bremen.

MC Services AG, the international investor relations and public relations firm, today announced the appointment of Dr. Claudia Gutjahr-Loeser as Managing Director, further strengthening the management team together with Katja Arnold and Andreas Burckhardt. The management team is led by Managing Partners Anne Hennecke and Raimund Gabriel, the founder of MC Services AG.

Dr. Gutjahr-Loeser is an investor relations and communications specialist of international repute. The appointment further strengthens MC Services’ international capabilities in the life sciences and health care sector.

Dr. Gutjahr-Loeser joins MC Services from MorphoSys AG, where she headed the Corporate Communications and Investor Relations department as Senior Vice President from 2002 to 2017. In this position, she was responsible for all external communications activities, as well as international investor relations.

Under her direction, MorphoSys was repeatedly awarded for its communications and investor relations performance. Dr. Gutjahr-Loeser was instrumental in raising the profile of MorphoSys to today’s high level.

Prior to that, Dr. Gutjahr-Loeser worked at cassiopeia AG and Deutsche Bank in various capacities. She holds a Ph.D. in biology from the Technical University of Munich. Dr. Gutjahr-Loeser co-founded and led the working group, Communications and Public Relations, of BIO Deutschland for several years and is an active member of the German Investor Relations Association (DIRK).
