01 Sep MC Services AG appoints Katja Arnold as Executive Director Life Sciences

Munich, Germany, September 2013 – MC Services AG announces the appointment of Katja Arnold as Executive Director Corporate Communications & Investor Relations, effective as of September 1, 2013. The appointment supports MC Services’ investor relations and public relations activities in the life sciences and health care sector and related industries. In her new position Katja Arnold will also
lead the life science team in the Munich office.

Katja has 15 years experience as IR specialist and expert in the field of financial and strategic communications in life sciences, health care, medical technology and consumers. Before joining MC Services, Katja worked for almost six years as a Director Corporate Communications & Investor Relations at WILEX AG, a listed biopharmaceutical company. She supported WILEX in several financing and M&A transactions and remains responsible for the outsourced IR/PR activities of the company at MC Services. Prior, Katja was a Senior Consultant with the IR & PR agency CAT Consultants in Hamburg and during this time, she was involved in several capital market transactions and financial communication projects for clients (e.g. W.O.M. World of Medicine AG, secunet AG or OHB Technology AG) and also acted as an outsourced IR manager of Zapf Creation AG. She started her career as assistant to the CEO of Marseille Kliniken AG in Hamburg after 6 years as a freelancer at the German Privatization Agency “Treuhandanstalt” in Dresden. Katja holds a degree in Business Administration from the Technical University of Dresden and is Certified Investor Relations Officer (CIRO) after having undergone successful training by the German Investor Relations Association.
