04 Apr MC Services announces appointment of long-time science journalist, Susanne Kutter, to Life Sciences Team

Munich/Düsseldorf, Germany, April 4, 2017. MC Services AG, the international investor relations and public relations firm, today announced that science journalist Susanne Kutter, long-time editor at “WirtschaftsWoche”, has joined the Company’s life sciences team.

Susanne has over 25 years of experience. As an editor at “WirtschaftsWoche”, which she joined in 1995, she covered the emerging German and international biotech sector in the “Technology & Innovation” department. Drawing on her scientific expertise as a biologist, she also wrote about a wide variety of life sciences topics from genetic scissor CrisprCas9 and stem cell research to novel pharmaceutical drugs, vaccines and surgical techniques to brain research, anti-aging, green genetic engineering and bio-energy.

Susanne wrote effectively about scientific topics and their economic significance and has a unique ability to explain highly complex subjects in an understandable and interesting way. Her reporting won several awards. She also served as a judge on media award panels for the “Medienpreis Medizin Mensch Technik” and the “Publizistik-Preis der Stiftung Gesundheit”.

Before joining “WirtschaftsWoche”, Susanne worked for several years as a book author and freelance journalist for publications such as “GEO”, “Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung”, “Die Zeit”, “Kosmos”, “Natur”, “Südwestpresse” and the “Schwäbische Tagblatt”. Susanne is a biologist by training with a degree from Eberhard Karls University Tübingen.
